Did you know that the Spodek and the MCK (International Congress Center) are connected/shared by a corridor? They are so close to each other that they are practically a whole.
Why are we writing about this, because as you know at SFF we always make sure to give the best possible thanks. At this year's edition, the turnout was not great, so in order to give you the best possible sound experience, (because that's what you come to the concerts for, right?) we decided to make the hall where the festival will be held smaller, how?
The venue remains the same Katowicka Strefa Kultury Spodek +MCK complex.
However, we will invite you to the hall on the other side (entrance from Olimpijska Street)
In a huge but empty hall the sound spreads terribly, that's why such a decision.
In the intimate hall at the MCK, our acousticians will provide you with a much better sound experience.
The lighting engineers will take care of the brilliant illumination, and the show with real lasers will be even better experienced by you.
What about the tickets... we are doing the same seating arrangement, rows, so the tickets remain valid with the assigned seats.
People who bought tickets for sectors will get codes from us and choose their seats in the best sector - right in front of the stage.
Nothing is changing, except the entrance. There will be an area with CDs, merch and everything you are waiting for. You'll even park your cars in the same parking lots you had in mind.
This year's SFF, as you know, was difficult to organize, constant changes (many bands didn't tour in 2024), others canceled their shows at the last minute, others thought until the last minute whether they would come. But there has never, ever been and there is no idea to cancel the festival, we are terribly hurt by such rumors.
And wanting to give those who will be with us in July, in Katowice a weekend of unforgettable experiences! You are cordially invited to enter through the entrance from Olinpijska Street to Building A.
